As a UX/UI Designer I strive to achieve a collaborative and
contemporaneous environment. With every design I intend to alleviate the issues of my clients, together.
Together We Deliver!
As a Hmong-American born in a Thailand refugee camp I grew up learning to appreciate different cultures and it’s similarities and differences. I strive to continue empathizing with others to bridge the gaps of understanding and compassion.
Before my transition to UX/UI Designing I got the chance to teach English in Thailand and manage event at a college access/success non-profit. As an educator I learned to create spaces that allow growth and improvements and as a program manager I recognized the importance of data and how it can inform on future projects.
My desire to learn more about diverse cultures in an international level lead me to study at Teachers College - Columbia University where I obtained my master’s in International Educational Development, in which informs me on my UX research methods, utilizing a diverse lens to ensure inclusivity.
Everyday I continuously strive to grow and learn to better myself. Whether it be challenging myself to read more different genres of books, currently reading Young Pueblo “Light,” or working on my calligraphy skills. Outside of work, you can find me take capturing memories with my cameras, playing with my 19 nieces and nephews, and enjoying cooking together with friends and family.
